This is my story in which i havn't been able to get posted on AI so maybe I can get some help and ideas on it. One of my ideas that I got last night was writing a prolouge for it to include her day of birth.
This is my Chapter one
Chapter One: The Beginning
It was the beginning of a new era, and Taracova the Princess of the Nakomian Kingdom is becoming of age to seek her own court like her mother Queen Novia, when she was her age. Currently she was situated in the royal library reading about one of her favorite Heroines, Sailor Galaxy. The Library consisted of millions of books about numerous topics, but Taracova loved the section on the Galaxicans the People of Queen Rosalina. Queen Rosalina is a highly respected woman who cared for her people. She was said to hold the Golden Key and was the Keeper of the Golden Gate that leads to the Golden City, which she reigns. Taracova only knew little about the subject but when she had free time she always goes to the library to catch up on some reading.
The majestic library is elegant; everything was of the royal color, silver. The tablecloths and curtains were made of fabric with actual silver stitched into the pattern of the royal crest (a which means immortal). The tables, chairs, desks and bookshelves were all made from silver not wood. Queen Novia banned the use of gold over a millennia ago, when she first came to reign because of the riots of greed that had struck the city. Ever since then Bronze had been used for the city’s currency.
As Taracova sat on one of the silver chairs at one of the silver tables she had a gigantic book about the Galaxican language; Galaxican has always been one of the hardest languages to learn. As she flipped through the pages of the old book, she came to a stop when she reached page 2754, the section on the Royal Court. Her elegant silver eyes scanned the page until she came across an intriguing passage:
Reswon excson freen thourh rhe plaran lonk w wert ug ehltmertsneu. Next to it, it had the translation. Golden Power flowed through the palace like a wave of enlightenment.
Taracova kept reading and reading, loosing track of time. She had finally noticed the time when her mother came crashing through the library doors. *Doors crash open*.
Queen Novia walked up to where Taracova was seated. “I have been looking for you everywhere! How long have you been in here?” She looked at her daughter with somber eyes. Gently stroking her daughters silvery hair, she brushed it away from her face.
“I’m sorry mother I have lost track of time *looks at the clock*. I have been here for quite some time, a couple of hours to be precise.” Taracova closed the book and moved it to the other side of the table.
“Taracova you need to stop with all this Galaxican business. You need to focus on finding the right Senshi for your court! I know that you can do it and that you’ll find the right people. I just hope you’ll find them before your wedding.”
Alarmed Taracova shot her mother a terrified glance. “Mother! I haven’t even met any men-”
“You know that it is law that you be betrothed. My mother did it to me and so shall I do it unto you. Your fiancé will be here in three months, when the wedding will take place. I asked for enough time so that you may find your court. Now I want you to go to your room where some servants are waiting to change you into the proper attire for this evening. We have visitors, until then take care my daughter.”
Novia left the library leaving Taracova in a state of bewilderment. How can she betroth me! That will defiantly be one of the laws I change! She carelessly got up from her chair without pushing it in and walked out of the Library, with the sound of her tempered footsteps roaming down the corridor.
The sun was beating through the windows onto Taracova’s frail body as she carefully paced herself trying not to slip on the glass like floors. Where is a fanning servant when you need one? I can hardly breathe. In the opposite direction from which she was walking a young dark haired woman was hastily making her way towards her. Now what does she want.
“Ah Princess, Anna is waiting in the study for you.” The woman bowed her head and waited for her dismissal.
“Thank you Bethany, tell her I will meet with her shortly. I need to go and change.” With the wave of her hand Bethany knew she was dismissed.
Stepping into her room three servants immediately surrounded her and began to undress her and to prepare her for the meeting of the visitors. The servants replaced Taracova’s everyday dress with a lovely evening gown. The evening gown was an elegant shade of lavender with the complements of a pearl necklace, a pearl bracelet and earrings to match.
“Thank you, that will be all. Till this evening you all enjoy yourselves.”
“That would be nice your majesty but truth be told there is still much more work to do.” Said Edina her personal ladies maid.
“Very well, then see to it that it is complete by this evening. Oh and one more thing, before I go, can you please open all the windows in the corridor and in here as well? It’s quite stuffy. I’d like fresh air for when I return.”
“Yes your majesty.” Edina went to work right away.
Taracova picked up her handbag and left for the Study where her personal adviser was waiting for her. Walking down the corridor she had previously been, she turned left at the cross where the two halls met. Continuing, she kept walking until she came upon an elaborate painting of a young man. The man was quite handsome with his baby blue eyes and dirty blond hair. “It’s too bad you left us father. I wish you hadn’t. I know you would never force me to marry…” she whispered amongst herself, then slowly made her way a couple more doors down to the study.
“Your late, Tara!” bellowed Anna.
“I’m sorry, but mother insisted I change because we have visitors!”
“I know, I’m suppose to escort you to the Lily Sitting Room, where they’re currently situated. These people have traveled far, young princess. So please make me proud and don’t shun them out like you have to others.”
“Hey! I had a reason for doing so, Anna! Don’t tell me what to do, remember who you are and your role! I will make my decisions. Now, no more talk, escort me to the sitting room now. Then you may go about your business. If I’d have my way you’d be unemployed for you insolence!” Commanded Taracova.
Without saying a word Anna escorted the princess, for she knew she was playing with fire. Once they reached the elegant sitting room that was painted to the perfection of a lily, Anna left Taracova in the hands of her mother and guests.
“—Speak of the goddess… here she is now.” Finished Queen Novia of her recent discussion with her guests.
“Hello, sorry I’m late…” Taracova said all the while looking at her visitors.
“Taracova I’d like you to meet Lady Aria and her daughter Lady Zavalla. Ladies this is my daughter Princess Taracova the heir to the Immortal throne.”
“It’s nice to meet you your highness. I’m afraid I won’t be staying long…but my daughter Zavalla will be living here for quite some time. I’m going away and I’m not sure how long I’ll be gone.” Said Lady Aria.
“It would be an honor to have your daughter stay with us. Maybe we shall become great friends.” For once in my life I actually think I will feel happy. Something about her attracts me to her. It’s not her appearance but something inside.
A couple hours have passed, which have been occupied with tea, small talk and the feeling of a friendship growing.
